Hey-yyo. We’re Jaron and Mimi from Next Stop Unknown. We met in our thirties, bonded over single parenthood, became utterly obsessed with each other (in a mostly cute but also do they share the same toothbrush? kind of way) and began blending our families. Together our brood consists of four energetic children all under the age of eight. We are still adjusting to parenthood as a family of six, trips are a little louder and more eventful, but we wouldn’t change in.

Jaron has always enjoyed traveling. He has explored in Ireland, Australia, England, Mexico, Canada, Iceland and much of the United States. Jaron is the CEO and owner of a successful tech company focusing mostly on EMF radiation and protection. As a former college basketball and tennis player, he loves anything athletic and adventurous. The one thing he promised his mama years ago is no skydiving, so none of that will be found on NSU.
Mimi: Co-founder, writer, web designer and photographer
Mimi is in the process of getting her bachelors degree in dental hygiene after working in the dental field for 15 years focusing mostly in pediatrics. Some of her favorite travels consist of visits to Iceland, Canada, Mexico and parts of the US. She love staying active through lifting, running, hiking and Pickleball with her handsome Husband Jaron (See Above). Mimi has a keen eye for vintage goods, timeless style, and a true love for greenery. The next stop on her bucket list is either Italy or Croatia.
How NSU Began: Next Stop Unknown’s maiden voyage was a trip to Iceland in 2022, sparking this blog. We love planning and writing about our exploits creating memories that we can look back on for a lifetime. Come join us on our Next Stop!
